The House That Joe Built is a HPUMC Carpenters for Christ & Habitat for Humanity Home Building Project honoring the life and service of Joseph Clarke Mathews.

Known as Joe to some and Joey to others, he had a strong commitment to helping build Habitat Houses. He never wanted to miss a build, working on almost every house through home #86!

The construction of House #88 brings together Joe’s family, friends and colleagues to share in his passion for helping others through building a home for a family in need.   All volunteers are welcome – No previous experience is necessary – There is something for everyone.
